Directory Search Help
Choose People to find a student, faculty, or staff member, or Department to find a department, organization, or service.
Search for Student, Faculty, or Staff
Basic Search
- Enter the name of the person you want to find. For best results, enter last name, then first name.
- Click Search.
- A list of search results appears (sorted by official full name, with a maximum of 50 entries).
- To see more information on a person, click the person's name or View Profile.
Advanced Search
- Click Advanced Search to search for people by multiple parameters.
- You must input at least a first name, last name or display name. Display name is used by applications such as Microsoft Exchange and can be updated at Aggie Account Gateway.
- Enter additional search parameters, such as major or department.
- Click Search.
- A list of search results appears (sorted by official full name, with a maximum of 50 entries).
- To see more information on a person, click the person's name or View Profile.
Searching for Department, Organization, or Service
- Enter a partial or complete name of the entity.
- Click Search.
- A list of search results appears (including departments, organizations, services, offices, centers, programs, institutes, agencies, facilities and labs).
Edit Directory Information
- Update basic directory information through the Edit Directory link at Aggie Account Gateway.
- Employees can change their office phone number and other information through Workday.
- Students can update information through the My Record tab on Howdy
